Loggerhead Cay is a 168-unit beachfront condominium located on the east side of Sanibel Island. All units are 2 bedroom / 2 bath, with a spacious lanai. The property has direct private beach access, tennis courts, private clubhouse, heated pool and patio, and grilling area. With its eastern location, guests simply head south once on the island, and need not deal with the heavy seasonal traffic of Sanibel. The property is located close to popular locations such as shopping, the grocery store and restaurants.

 

About Unit 234

For your consideration, Unit 234 was renovated in the summer of 2017, and is a 4th floor unit, located in building 2. The unit underwent considerable remodeling and refurnishing in the summer of 2017. The unit has sleeping accommodations for 6.The master bedroom has direct access to the lanai, a king-sized bed, and private bathroom. The guest suite has both a queen and twin bed. For the additional guest, there is a sofa-bed. Unit 234 has 3 flat-screen HD TVs, 2 which are enabled with "smart" features such Netflix and YouTube. The unit is also equipped with high-speed wireless internet. Unit 234 has a full sized refrigerator, oven and stove, microwave, and full-sized washer and dryer. For the kids, the unit comes with plenty of games for night-time and rainy-day enjoyment, as well as ample beach supplies such as rafts, umbrellas, beach wagons and beach chairs.

In 2019, another major renovation occurred and the kitchen and both bathrooms were remodeled. The unit now has been almost completely renovated with all aspects of the unit replaced over the past 2 years.

For 2024, the unit has had a major overhaul post Hurricane Ian, and has new LVP flooring, a new A/C, new bedding, and new furniture. Please note that the complex and the island are still under renovation, and it will be time before the island returns to how it was before 2022.

The unit is professionally managed by an on-island management company, and is cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. Fresh linens are provided for your stay, and are replenished for those who stay for periods of 2 weeks or more.

 

 

Pet Policy

The unit is pet-friendly, however, renters must follow building rules. Only cats, dogs and birds qualify as accepted pets, and there is a limit of 1 pet. Due to insurance regulation, dogs must be less than 25 pounds, and cannot be of, or partially of the following breeds: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Pit Bull, or Rottweiler. The building has strict policies and owners may not walk their pets within the inner courtyard. There is an additional pet charge of $350, per stay.

Please note that this site is intended for me to market the property, but your rental transaction will be performed by the professional management company, which allows for check and credit card, and will coordinate your arrival and stay on the island. High/Peak season stays must be Saturday afternoon-Saturday Morning. I am flexible for other times of the year. Rates fluctuate with the time of the year, but below is an estimate for 2024/2025:
